About the studio

A studio built around shipping.

Iro runs on one operating principle: production-grade software in days, not months — for a fixed price, against a written scope, with senior people and an automated platform doing the heavy lifting. No agency layers. No vibe code. No surprises on the invoice.

Why we built it this way.

Most studios sell months. We sell outcomes.

A six-month engagement isn't a feature — it's overhead. Account managers. Project managers. Junior engineers learning on your dime. We took the layers out, put senior people on the keys, and built a platform so the boring work runs itself. What's left is the actual build, on a calendar you can hold us to.

How we operate

Six principles. No exceptions.

The studio runs on a small set of rules that we apply to every engagement. They are how we hold the deadline, the price, and the quality at the same time — and why we say no to projects that would force us to break them.

01

Engineered with agents. Reviewed by humans.

We use AI as a force multiplier, not a shortcut. Senior engineers own the architecture, the patterns, and the review — agents accelerate the work that follows. What ships on day 10 is typed, tested, deployable, and documented.

02

Fixed price. Fixed scope. Fixed deadline.

A real number against a written scope, with explicit exclusions. If we underestimate, that is our problem — not your next invoice.

03

Senior engineers only. No juniors, no hand-offs.

Every engineer who touches your code has shipped real production software. No juniors learning on your project, no offshore hand-offs at 2 a.m.

04

Production-grade from minute one.

Two environments live within minutes of signing. Terraform. CI on GitHub. Health checks responding before our first standup.

05

Written scope. Written exclusions. No surprises.

You see the included list and the excluded list before you sign. The exclusions are a feature, not fine print — they are how we keep the deadline honest.

06

You own everything.

Your repo, your infra, your accounts, your runbook. On day 11 you could fire us and a new team could pick it up by reading the README.

The platform

Boring work, automated.

Iro is the build platform we run every project on. Repo, environments, CI, monitoring, status — all provisioned in minutes from a template that has shipped this stack a hundred times. Day zero is a live URL, not a kickoff deck.

Because the platform handles the boring parts, the senior people on your project spend their time on your problem — the thing that actually justifies the fee. The infrastructure has been done. The patterns have been done. What is left is the build.

And because the platform exposes the work as it happens — commits, builds, health, spend — you do not have to ask how it is going. You can see how it is going, in real time, on your console.

The network

Senior people, on call by seat.

Behind every build is a small bench of vetted senior engineers, designers, and platform specialists. They are added to a project by seat, not by hour, and only when the work calls for the skill. No agency overhead, no junior staffing, no time cards.

We do not publish their names — protecting their other engagements is part of how we keep the bench. What we publish instead is the bar: every person on the network has shipped real production software for a real production audience. We can name references on a call when it matters.

What we don't do.

×

We don't do retainers without a build.

Retainers exist after a launch, to keep the thing alive. We do not sell standalone "advisory" hours.

×

We don't pad scope to fill calendar.

If we finish on day 8, you get the days back. The schedule is not a target to hit — it is a ceiling we work under.

×

We don't do six-month engagements.

If a project genuinely needs six months, we will tell you, and refer you to a studio that staffs them well. We are not that studio.

×

We don't hide the operator.

You always have one phone number, one Slack, one accountable person. No layers, no handoffs, no "let me check with the team".

×

We don't take on what we cannot ship.

Healthcare-grade compliance, FedRAMP, native iOS + Android in parallel — out of scope by default, and we will say so on the call.

Decide on the call, not the page.

30 minutes, no pitch deck, no high-pressure sales. Bring the project, the timeline, and the number you're working with — we'll tell you which plan fits, or that none do.
