Common questions

Before you write — these are the ones we get most often.

How quickly will I hear back?

Within one business day, weekdays Mountain Time. If you write on a Friday evening, expect a Monday morning reply. If your message is time-sensitive, say so in the first line — we triage on that.

Form or email — does it matter?

Either is fine. The form lands in the same inbox; it's just a friendlier shape if you don't have a draft handy. If you'd rather lead with a thread you can attach to or forward, email hello@iro.studio directly.

What should I include in the message?

Whatever helps us reply usefully. The most useful answers tend to mention: what you're building (or thinking of building), who it's for, the rough timeline, and the budget you're working with — even a wide range is fine. None of these are required.

Do you reply outside business hours?

Not deliberately. Hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time, Mon–Fri, based in Denver, Colorado. Late-night replies usually mean we're shipping something for an existing client, not the new normal.

I'm in a different time zone — does that work?

Yes. Most of our work is async — written briefs, recorded walkthroughs, async code review. When a live call is needed, we schedule it inside the CET ↔ MT ↔ EST overlap (roughly 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM MT works for most of Europe and the Americas).

Do you sign NDAs before a first conversation?

We will if you need us to — a mutual NDA is a 5-minute formality. We don't require one to read your message or take a discovery call, and we treat anything you share as confidential by default.

How is what I send through this form handled?

Encrypted in transit, stored only in our inbox, never used for marketing, never shared with third parties beyond what's described in our Privacy Policy. If you ask us to delete a thread, we delete it.

What if my project isn't a fit?

We'll tell you, on the first reply, with a short note on why — not a polite no-answer. Where we can, we'll point you toward someone who is a fit. That's also a useful answer.
