This policy explains what cookies and similar storage technologies the iro.studio website (the "Site") uses, who sets them, and how to control them. It complements the Privacy Policy, which covers what personal information we collect and how we use it.

The short version: we don't run advertising trackers, analytics SDKs, or session-recording tools on the Site. The cookies present in your browser when you visit iro.studio are limited to what the Site itself needs to function and what embedded third-party tools (mainly the Reclaim.ai booking widget) set when you interact with them.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device. They let a site remember things across page loads — a logged-in session, a form draft, a language preference. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB, which work the same way conceptually but live in different parts of your browser.

Cookies set by the site you're visiting are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services embedded inside that site (a booking widget, a video player, an analytics script) are called third-party cookies.

2. Cookies the Site sets directly

The Site does not currently set first-party cookies for analytics, advertising, or personalisation. Any first-party cookies present are strictly necessary — they exist only to keep features you actively use working (for example, protecting form submissions against forgery). They store no identifying information, are not shared with third parties, and are removed when you close your browser unless otherwise noted.

3. Third-party cookies set through embedded tools

The Site embeds a small number of third-party tools to make booking and asset delivery work. These services may set their own cookies in your browser when you interact with them, governed by their policies — not this one.

  • Reclaim.ai — powers the booking widget on /book. May set its own cookies during the booking flow; full list in Reclaim.ai's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts — serves Inter Tight and JetBrains Mono. Sets no cookies; only serves CSS and font files. Standard request metadata (IP, user-agent) is covered in the Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — hosts the Site. May set short-lived security and load-balancing cookies on its own infrastructure; no marketing or analytics cookies.

We don't embed advertising tags, social media pixels, A/B testing tools, or session recording. If that ever changes, this list — and your control options — will be updated first.

4. How to control cookies

Because the Site doesn't run advertising or analytics cookies, no cookie banner is shown. You remain in full control of what your browser stores. Common options:

  • Block or clear cookies in your browser. Help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
  • Private / incognito mode. Most browsers discard cookies and site storage at the end of the session.
  • Built-in tracking protection. Safari ITP, Firefox ETP, and Brave shields block most third-party cookies by default — iro.studio works without any change required from us.

Blocking third-party cookies set by Reclaim.ai may break the booking widget on /book. If that happens, email hello@iro.studio directly and we'll book the call manually.

5. How long cookies last

Strictly necessary first-party cookies last only for the duration of your session and are removed when you close your browser. Third-party cookies set by Reclaim.ai follow the retention periods listed in their own policy, which range from session-only to a few months depending on the cookie's purpose. We do not extend or modify those lifetimes.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy by posting a revised version on this page with a new Last updated date. The updated policy applies to use of the Site from the date of posting forward. If we ever add cookies that aren't strictly necessary — analytics, advertising, or personalisation — we'll add a clear opt-in mechanism before they run.
